Plot
Karan (Datta Naik) is a quiet young man from a small village with a zest for life, who lives with his sister Jaya (Sujata Mehta) and her husband. His life is in turmoil when a kind-hearted teacher (Ganesh Jadhav) gets him a job as a security guard in a big city. He is offered a job of a night watchman, a job which requires him to keep vigil 24 hours a day. He is unhappy with the job and he quits it. Now he works as a bar manager in the night club, while his friend Ajay (Vijayta Pawar) is working as a police officer.
Nandu (Narain Seth), a powerful underworld don is getting ready to organize an underworld conference in a hotel. He asks Karan to be present in the conference as a spy. The underworld mafia is yet to have any successful police action, so they need Karan for the conference and Karan agrees. At the conference, Ajay and Karan meet several criminals. The conference is getting more and more difficult as Ajay is unable to speak the most significant words in the conference. The underworld bosses ask Karan to do some favors for them. Karan attempts to do so, but is met with failure. At last, the underworld bosses tell Ajay to do a favor to them. Ajay agrees to do the favor. Karan becomes sad after learning about his friend's decision.
Karan is invited to a wedding function with Ajay in a social club. His dreams are shattered by this knowledge. As they return back to the hotel, Karan gets off the car and walks to a well. He makes a phone call to Jaya, but her phone is not answered. Karan, now full of tears, goes into the hotel for help. As the meeting is coming to an end, Ajay is about to finish his speech. Now Ajay stops, because he heard about Karan's condition. Ajay tells
